I know we tweeted and facebooked this on the night, but not all of you follow us that way, do you?
On Monday night we were up in Brisbane to attend the Delicious Produce Awards. We had been nominated for the ABC Local Radio Community Award and guess what……we won!
It is an absolute testament to the generosity of the NW Coast Community that Produce to the People is as successful a project as it is, so CONGRATULATIONS!
The award was presented to me by our old Tassie ABC Radio friend Tim Cox, and the wonderful Matt Preston who you may know from Masterchef.
It was a fabulous night (and walking around Brisbane in thongs and a t-shirt the next day soaking up the sun was pretty nice too!)
