Expressions of interest sought:
We are seeking passionate applicants who like working with people and the environment. This position has a focus on horticulture, permaculture and teaching (though you don’t have to have a teaching qualification). Preferably you will have experience in these areas, but most importantly you will be motivated by wanting to make a difference! The position involves supervising a group of 20 to to gain work experience in a range of activities, partly based at the Penguin Sustainable Living Centre, and to help establish community gardens from Devonport to Burnie. The position is full time, but could be a job share opportunity, and is likely to commence mid to late May for a six month period. Applicants must have a current drivers licence.
